first post ever

i feel like i should say something momentous about all of this, but all i can think of are cliches. my sisters and my mom all thought i should create a blog, and with their support i thought i'd try it out.

yay for a new laundry hamper!!

heres a little backstory: i dont have a hamper. i have one lowly laundry basket that should be filled with dirty clothing (the purpose of one) but instead is usually filled with clean clothing, waiting to be put away. in actuality, i use it much like a dresser: i take my clean clothes out of the laundry basket, one by one, whenever i need them. i have a real dresser, and i have a closet, but i just dislike putting away laundry. when i need my laundry basket for something important (i put my guinea pig in it when i clean her cage), then all the clean laundry goes on top of my dresser. which annoys me at night because i have to dig out my alarm clock. my dirty clothing more often than not is thrown straight into the washer where i have to dig it all out later and sort. *sigh*

sounds like i have issues, i know. i'm hoping that this laundry hamper will solve part of my laundry problem. my other issues i'll have to figure out in time....

oh, and the idea for this came from multiple other peoples blogs and ideas etc. but i came up with my own pattern and my own design.

ehh....dont know if i'm supposed to say anything else. this was all relatively painless. we'll see about tomorrow...
