well, i lied.
i had what amounted to a book show, where people dont actually come to my place, they just look in a catalogue and give me their hard earned money so i can benefit from it. i'll show you the reason i relented in just a little bit. long story short, i made out like a bandit. apparently hosting one of those shows gets you a lot of free stuff.
anyways, all my loot came today. well, all the loot in general came today.
after organizing all of this loot...
i was left with my loot:
yes....that is all mine.
but i was super duper excited, because of the following....
haha...no...thats just a blank wall in my bedroom. but look at what i did with my blank wall...
STARS!!! to match my amish stars!! how cool are they!?!
just wait...
PRETTY!!! yay for stars!!
in other news, my across the hall neighbors have moved out. i get a reprieve from their door slamming until the next resident moves in. * crosses fingers for a long reprieve *
finally figured out what i want to do for margaret. i just hope it turns out! but i cleaned all day so the fed-ex guy wouldn't see my messy apartment (silly, i know) when he delivered the aforementioned loot, so i'm a bit tired and haven't drug out the sewing machine yet.
oh, and i also finally finished the 5th season of the office. yay for the hilarious comedies!! and yay for weekends that let me accomplish so much!
"lonely people mixing with one another, breeding, creating an even lonelier generation? you're not allowing natural selection to do its work. you're like the guy who invented the seatbelt." ~ dwight schrute, the office

oh, loot, loot, loot. The stars are great!
ReplyDeleteIn other news, I can't wait until we can watch Season 6 straight through. We started season 1 in the Fall and got through Season 5, but now Season 6 is going on and we want to watch it from the beginning.... does that make ANY sense? Anyway, I never thought I would laugh at or even get an Office quote, but I love Dwight :)
makes sense to me! i'd rather skip a year of watching shows one-per-week, and instead watch them all together when i want to. just as long as no one ruins the ending of a show for me.
ReplyDeletei bought season 5 because it was on sale for $16.99 at target. or maybe $15.99. i forget. but now i need seasons 1-4, partly to complete the set, partly to watch them straight through, and partly because i have a feeling i missed part of season 4 because i was confused in season 5 for a couple episodes. when season 6 comes out its going on the "to buy" list! (in other news i also bought monk season 7. haven't unwrapped the plastic from it yet...i'm excited for another monk marathon though) :)
